JASIRI

Jasiri is a fun, creative self-confidence program designed to help children and teenagers discover their inner strength, express themselves freely, and face the world with courage. Through art, creativity, and interactive sessions, the program nurtures self-awareness, confidence, and positive personal growth.

Every child is unique (some are introverted, others extroverted) and the environments they grow up in greatly influence how they see themselves and interact with the world. Jasiri creates a safe and supportive space where young minds can explore their identity, build confidence and develop the courage to express their ideas and talents without fear.

Created for children and teenagers aged 4–17 years, Jasiri seeks to nurture a generation that is confident, self-aware, creative and empowered to thrive in their communities and beyond.

KULOMBA

Kulomba, a Luhya word meaning “to make,” is a creative arts and crafts program by Nkwaniliza Crafts Africa that empowers young people in Kakamega and Busia  Counties through hands-on artistic skills and innovation.

The program introduces young adults (18-25 years) to DIY art and craft creation using recycled and upcycled materials, encouraging creativity while promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. Through these practical sessions, participants learn how everyday materials can be transformed into meaningful and valuable pieces of art.

Kulomba empowers young adults through art by fostering creativity, entrepreneurship, and life skills. Through showcasing and selling their artwork, participants gain income opportunities, confidence, and independence while learning sustainability and becoming responsible, creative future changemakers.

Currently engaging the KE 452 Survival Mothers Group in Andogosi, Busia in handmade crafts for sale and cake art.

TULIZO

Tulizo is inspired by the Swahili word “tulia,” meaning to relax. The program welcomes people of all ages (from youth to older adults) who seek a calm, engaging, and fun-filled creative experience.

Research shows that engaging in artistic activities promotes mindfulness, relaxation, focused attention, and the simple joy of creating. Through art, participants are encouraged to slow down, reflect and reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way.

At Tulizo, we creatively support individuals, groups and even mindful corporates by providing a safe and relaxing creative experience to process emotions, express themselves freely through painting on canvases, pots, tote bags, tshirts, caps, wooden trays, gratitude jars,  card making and vision boarding among other customized craft activities
