A FESTIVE SEASON FILLED WITH DIVERSE CRAFT JUICES

What happens when children are given space to create, explore, and imagine right in the heart of the city? During the festive season, Nkwaniliza Crafts Africa answered this question by transforming everyday spaces across Nairobi into joyful, child-centered worlds of creativity, where art became a language of expression, confidence, and discovery.

In some of the city’s most loved hospitality spaces including Kempinski, Serena, Social House, Pullman, and Holiday Inn, our Art Assistants led festive DIY craft sessions designed especially for children. With open-ended materials and gentle guidance, young creators painted, built, cut, and crafted freely, gaining confidence in their ideas and pride in their work. Each session was intentionally designed to centre the child thus allowing creativity to unfold naturally.

At Imaara Mall, families paused from the holiday rush as children immersed themselves fully in hands-on crafting. These moments went far beyond festive fun. They nurtured fine motor skills, problem-solving, creativity, and social interaction while offering children a rare opportunity to create without rules or pressure, where imagination led the way.

As the year came to a close, we ushered in the New Year with purposeful crafting experiences at Kempinski and Imaara Mall, encouraging children to reflect, dream, and create with intention. Through art, they expressed hope, excitement, and new beginnings showing us that creativity is not just play, but a powerful tool for emotional expression and growth.

These festive craft moments reaffirmed our belief that creativity shapes confident children and stronger futures. At Nkwaniliza Crafts Africa, we remain committed to placing children at the centre of creative experiences while transforming public spaces into places of learning, joy, and possibility, one crafted moment at a time.

Big shout out to our incredible partners; BIRDIE MASCOT and Imaara Mall for always entrusting us for fun-learning craft sessions with young ones.
